Weavers never seem to have enough shuttles and pick-up sticks! Good Wood Shuttles and pick-up sticks are thin and lightweight, have tapered leading ends, are finely sanded on all surfaces and are beauifully finished. The Hourglass Shuttles can hold more weft fiber than a Straight Shuttle of the same length. The Pick-Up Sticks have a hole in one end so they can be used as a giant needle. Various sizes available.

Warping Board
Warping Boards are commonly used as a measuring device for weavers preparing long warps. The Good Wood Warping Board is the easy, efficient way to prepare a warp up to five yards long for the Good Wood Slant Loom, as well as other long-warp looms. Our Warping Board is sturdily crafted from native hardwoods and beautifully finished. Its compact size (18" x 18" x 5 1/2") makes it ideal for weavers with limited space or those who wish to take it to workshops or on vacations.

Yarn Holder
Yarn, string or thread for weaving often is supplied on tubes or cones, which don't like to stay put as the yarn is unreeled. The Good Wood Yarn Holder neatly holds the cones or tubes in place and thus prevents the tangles and runaways that are so common when unreeling fibers. It is beautifully crafted from cherry wood and birch dowels, and folds flat when not in use for easy storage and portability. Dimensions folded are 2-1/4" x 7" x 18"

	Magic Heddle The Magic Heddle is the component that makes Good Wood Looms so easy to use. Good Wood’s unique design makes it possible to change the shed by merely rotating the heddle a quarter turn. With the Magic Heddle you get all the benefits of a two-harness loom without the time-consuming and frustrating need to thread warp fibers through holes or slots when putting the warp on the loom. The Magic Heddle is put into position after the warp is in place, simply by inserting it under the warp. Use it once and you’ll see why it is called “magic!” The Magic Heddle comes in five sizes. The Magic Heddle is crafted from one solid piece of hardwood. The slots in it are carefully spaced for even weaving. The heddle is smoothly sanded, and beautifully finished with natural oil. The Magic Heddle is a pleasure to touch and work with the Magic Heddle is also a handspinner’s delight because all those wonderful novelty yarns with their slubs, confetti and loops will pass easily through the Magic Heddle.
